The Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of a new low pressure area forming in the next three days.


The Meteorological Department said..,

The deep depression that prevailed in the southwest and adjacent central-west Bay of Bengal, south Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu coasts weakened into a low pressure area yesterday.


Later, in a few hours, the low pressure area completely weakened.



It will move to the Arabian Sea. Although the low pressure area weakens, its humidity will be found in places.


Due to this, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Tamil Nadu for the next 6 days.


Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu today, Puducherry and Karaikal areas.


Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu tomorrow (28th) and 29th and 30th.
