The world's most powerful passports ranking for 2024 has been released.
It is noteworthy that the United Kingdom (UK) does not even feature in the top 30 in this list.
UAE tops the list
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has topped the list for the fourth time as the country with the most powerful passport in the world.
UAE passport holders can access 90 percent of the world. They can reach 133 countries without a visa and can obtain visa-on-arrival entry in 47 countries.
As a result, the UAE passport has a mobility score of 180.
Top 20 is entirely European
European countries occupy 19 of the top 20 positions. Spain overtook Germany to take second place.
Finland is in third place. In the ranking of G20 countries, France (4th place) has the most powerful passport.
Britain, America lag behind in the list
The British passport has slipped again this year to 32nd place.
A British passport allows visa-free travel to 125 countries, and visa-on-arrival to 49 more.
Similarly, the United States is at 38th place. American citizens can travel visa-free to 123 countries, and visa-on-arrival to 50 more.
Syria tops the list with the least privileged passport in the world, with a mobility score of 40.
