H-1B visa... Elon Musk doubles down on Donald Trump supporters




Amidst a heated debate over the use of H-1B visas in the United States, Donald Trump has openly supported Elon Musk's decision.


Musk says he will fight

He has announced that he fully supports the H-1B visa program for foreign technology workers, which has been opposed by some of Donald Trump's supporters.


Trump has also expressed his support while Elon Musk has announced that he will fight to the limit in support of the H-1B visa program for foreign technology workers.


Donald Trump had taken steps to reduce the number of H-1B visas during his first four years in office. But now, noting that Elon Musk has supported the H-1B visa program,


Trump stated that there are H-1B visa users in his companies, that he has faith in the H-1B visa program, and that he has used Musk many times.

South African-born Elon Musk was an H-1B visa holder before becoming a US citizen. In 2024 alone, Elon Musk’s Tesla received 724 H-1B visas.


The H-1B visa expires in three years. Users can extend it if needed or apply for citizenship.


Earlier this week, a controversy erupted when far-right supporters criticized Trump’s choice of an Indian-American named Sriram Krishnan. These opponents of the H-1B visa see immigration as a threat to Western civilization.
