China is developing biological weapons using medical data from British patients

Experts have warned that China is planning to seize the medical data of patients in the UK and develop biological weapons.

Chinese technology

MPs and biological experts have warned about the increasing use of Chinese medical technologies in British hospitals.

They have also expressed fears that China could use patient data to create new viruses or diseases.

In recent years, British hospitals have increasingly relied on China for equipment to monitor patient data.

A Chinese company operating in Britain has suddenly expanded to Europe and the UK, employing more than a hundred staff.

The Chinese company, headquartered in China, which generates annual revenue of 4.3 billion US dollars, currently has contracts with 600 academic hospitals across Europe, including 50 NHS hospitals,

and supplies critical equipment including monitoring, anesthesia and ultrasound equipment. The company has been visited by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, which experts warn indicates the company is working with the government there.

Calls for regulatory scrutiny

The dominance of Chinese technology in the NHS and European healthcare has raised concerns about the potential for large-scale data collection that could pose a systematic threat to British security.

Last year, MI5 chief Ken McCallum warned about China. In addition, data security experts are currently calling for a regulatory review of foreign-controlled medical devices used in the British healthcare system.

In this context, a British government spokesman said that we have strict security systems in place across the NHS to prevent data misuse.
