With the French government collapsing after a no-confidence vote against French Prime Minister Michel Barnier, the question of who will be the next prime minister has arisen.
Who will be the next prime minister of France?
French media have published some predictions on who President Emmanuel Macron will choose as the next prime minister of France.
Accordingly, here are the names of the possible candidates for the next prime minister of France.

The long-time mayor of Pau decided to support Macron instead of running for president in 2017.
He resigned a few weeks after being appointed as Macron’s justice minister, accusing him of fraud.
He has now been cleared of wrongdoing.
Bernard Cazeneuve
Bernard (61), a senior member of the Socialist Party, was prime minister for a few months and interior minister at the time of the 2015 terrorist attacks.
Xavier Bertrand
Xavier (59) served as a minister under Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy.
François Baroin
Baroin (59) briefly served as finance minister and budget minister during the European debt crisis.
He has also been mayor of Troyes since 1995.
