Indian drug trafficker Sunil Yadav has been shot dead in the United States.

The killing of Sunil Yadav, who was involved in drug trafficking, in the US state of California has caused a stir.
California police are conducting an intensive investigation into the murder.
Rohit Kotara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the murder.
Sunil Yadav, a native of Punjab, was a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, but was currently operating alone. Various cases including murder, robbery and drug trafficking are pending against him in Rajasthan.
Rohit Kotara has said that the murder was carried out to avenge the killing of Ankit Bhadu, another member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, by Sunil Yadav.
He also accused him of spreading false information about himself and his family even after he went to the US.
Gang caught in major criminal cases
Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is also suspected of being involved in the murder case of senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddique in Maharashtra.
It is noteworthy that Lawrence Bishnoi had also mentioned that he tried to kill actor Salman Khan.
