A Pakistani airstrike killed 15 people in Afghanistan on Sunday night.

15 killed

A Pakistani airstrike killed 15 civilians, including women and children, in the Parmal district of Afghanistan's Paktika province last night. Five members of the same family were killed in the attack.

Afghanistan's Ministry of National Defense has strongly condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Pakistani army in Afghanistan.

The airstrikes hit seven villages, including Laman and Murg Bazaar. Local sources said the blasts primarily affected civilians, including Waziristan refugees.

Many of them had fled their homes in Pakistan's tribal areas due to previous military operations. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue operations continue.

A spokesman for the Afghan Defense Ministry described the attack as a "barbaric act that violates international principles and constitutes clear aggression."

The Taliban's Defense Ministry has vowed to retaliate for the attack, saying it is their legitimate right to defend their territory and sovereignty.
