The French prime minister used special powers to pass bills in a controversial budget without a vote in parliament.
Angry opposition parties have decided to bring a no-confidence motion against the prime minister tomorrow.
French government in shambles
Prime Minister Michel Barnier has decided to present his budget, which includes tax cuts and benefits cuts.
Barnier, certain that parliament would reject the bill, used special powers under Article 49.3 of the French constitution.
However, the left-wing party France Unbowed (LFI) and Marine Le Pen's right-wing party National Rally (RN) immediately announced that they would bring a no-confidence motion against the prime minister.
With the ruling government already in a minority, if the Prime Minister is defeated in the no-confidence motion tomorrow, there is a risk of the government collapsing.
It is noteworthy that if the government collapses, the budget will also fail.
