A sudden fire broke out today at the Eiffel Tower, one of the wonders of the world located in the capital of France, Paris.
Nearly 1,200 visitors were immediately evacuated from the tower due to a fire alarm in the elevator shaft of the Eiffel Tower.
According to reports, the accident may have been caused by an electrical fault in the wiring of the elevator between the first and second levels of the Eiffel Tower.
No one was injured
It has been reported that no visitors were injured in the accident.
It has also been reported that the Eiffel Tower will reopen today, but visitors will be restricted to the first and second floors.
An investigation is also underway into the cause of the electrical fault.
