Canadian passengers will soon be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi on Air Canada flights.
Air Canada plans to launch the service in May 2025.
It has been reported that this free WiFi service will be offered on Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express flights.
This service will be available to North America and Sun Market passengers first.
It is noteworthy that to receive this free WiFi service, the passenger must be an Aeroplan member.
Passengers who are not Aeroplan members can purchase and use this service at a reduced rate. Those who want to become an Aeroplan member can register for free.
This WiFi service will be provided with streaming quality, making it convenient for business and leisure passengers.
Air Canada plans to expand this service to long-haul international flights by 2026.
In July, WestJet also announced free WiFi service via Starlink advanced satellite internet on some of its flights.
