The Indian Space Research Organization is going to implement the Space Docking project.
Space Docking
ISRO, which has created various rare achievements in space research, is a leading organization in the world market by placing foreign satellites in space both commercially and commercially.
ISRO is showing great enthusiasm for implementing many research projects including Chandrayaan-4 and Gaganyaan, keeping in mind the future needs.
Following this, it is planned to establish the Indian Space Research Organization by 2035.
For this, a project called SpadeX is currently being implemented. SpadeX is a part of the preparatory work called Space Docking.
According to this project, research work to integrate spacecraft in space is going to be carried out.
For this, two spacecraft, Chaser and Target, weighing 400 kg each, have been designed by a private company under the guidance of ISRO.
ISRO is going to launch the twin spacecraft into space using the PSLV C-60 rocket. It is said that it will be launched from the launch pad in Sriharikota by the end of this month.
How will it be implemented?
The spacecraft to be launched are going to be placed in different orbits at a distance of about 700 km from the Earth.
After that, the work of combining them will be carried out. In the meantime, scientists are engaged in the work of integrating the rocket parts and installing the spacecraft in it.
