Authorities have imposed restrictions on bird flu after it was detected in some parts of England.

Bird flu has been detected in two places in Norfolk, two in Yorkshire and one in Cornwall in England.

Farmers of birds for food have been advised to take appropriate measures to protect their farms and prevent the disease from spreading to other birds from affected farms.


They have also been asked to immediately inform the Animal and Bird Welfare Agency if bird flu is detected on their farms.

However, officials have said that the chances of bird flu spreading to humans are very low and that it is safe to eat properly cooked meat, eggs and other products.
