With Travis Head facing fitness doubts, young Sam Constas is set to make his debut in the Australian team.
The 4th match of the Border-Gavaskar Test series begins in Melbourne on the 26th. The match, which comes the day after Christmas, is known as the 'Boxing Day' Test.
Travis Head is facing fitness doubts. As a result, it is said that another player could play in his place, but 19-year-old Sam Constas is set to make his debut.
Constas will become the 4th youngest player to make his debut in an Australian Test. He will also play under Pat Cummins, who made his debut in South Africa as an 18-year-old in 2011.
While Constas' inclusion has been confirmed, the rest of the XI is yet to be finalised. Head has also failed to appear for a fitness test due to the delay.
Constas scored 107 runs off 97 balls against India, including one six and 14 fours.
