French authorities have said that they have rescued 107 migrants who were trying to enter Britain from France via the English Channel.


French authorities have said that they have rescued 107 migrants who were trying to enter Britain via the English Channel on Christmas Day, December 25, i.e. yesterday.


In the morning, 30 migrants were rescued from a boat traveling in the English Channel.


Later, after receiving information that the boat had suffered mechanical failure and was struggling, French authorities rescued 30 people from that boat.


Following this, after receiving information that another boat was also floundering in the water, the authorities rescued 26 people from it.


In total, French authorities said they rescued 107 migrants from the English Channel yesterday alone.
