Google has been hit with an extraordinary fine by a Russian court.
Alphabet, the parent company of Google, was accused in the complaint of controlling the content of 17 Russian media sites.
The whole global production
In reaction to Russia's activities against Ukraine, Google has taken action to block information from Russian media sources.
A 20 decillion USD
($20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) fine has been levied as a result.
This indicates that the fine amount exceeds 110 trillion dollars.
According to international media, it also surpasses the global gross domestic product as determined by the International Monetary Fund.
Two trillion dollars more
The penalties against Google, the biggest firm in the world, is expected to be above $2 trillion.
However, in addition to this consequence, these media outlets must restore their material within nine months, or face a penalty that doubles every day if they don't comply.
Google has not yet responded to the decision, though.
