After 18 years of suffering, a woman finds a needle left in her vagina after delivery.

While suturing the mother after giving delivery, the nurse unintentionally slipped a needle into her vagina.

Medical personnel in Thailand left a needle in a woman's vagina during childbirth, causing her to suffer excruciating anguish for over 20 years.

The 36-year-old woman from the southern province of Narathiwat said that eighteen years ago, while suturing her after giving birth, a nurse unintentionally inserted a needle into her vagina.

The woman informed the charity Pavena Foundation for Children and Women, to whom she appealed on November 4, that a doctor had attempted "using his fingers" to recover the lost needle but was unable.

A woman in Cambodia experienced persistent pain in her lower abdomen due to a needle lodged in her vagina. The doctor continued the procedure without taking the needle out, causing further blood loss. The woman's surgery was postponed two-three times due to the needle's movement.

She has to visit the hospital four times a month for follow-ups, causing financial strain. The foundation, Paveena Hongsakul, has contacted a public hospital and coordinated with the department of social development and human security to arrange transport for her treatment.

The foundation's head, Paveena Hongsakul, has contacted a public hospital and coordinated with the department of social development and human security to help the woman.

It was unclear at first whether she would sue the hospital for medical negligence or when she may have surgery to remove the needle.

Another Thai woman almost died in June after a medical staff left gauze inside her uterus while she was receiving cancer treatment, which led to a serious infection.
