A woman from Maryland, USA, has been found guilty by a court in a case of stealing $ 1 million from the company she worked for.
She lived a luxurious life with the stolen money and even bought a ticket for her favorite singer's concert at the company she worked for. Jennifer Tinker, 41, started stealing money little by little from the company she worked for from 2021 to 2023.
She deposited about $ 1 million, or Rs 8.3 crore in Indian currency, into her own bank account. Not only that, she also submitted fake data to the company to avoid being caught in the matter.
The investigation revealed that she had made a total of 90 money transfers. Not only that, Tinker also manipulated her employer's financial records through fraudulent adjustments and entries to hide the illegal transactions.
